Our Elephant Feeding Experience is a relaxed and meaningful encounter where guests learn about the care and wellbeing of rescued elephants while preparing and feeding their daily meal. This short but memorable experience allows visitors to interact with elephants respectfully in their natural surroundings.
Guests will begin by preparing a nutritious feast for the elephants before hand-feeding them alongside our experienced mahouts. Watching the elephants enjoy their food up close is both exciting and heartwarming, and it offers a rare opportunity to observe their personalities and behavior.
The Elephant Freedom Project is committed to ethical elephant tourism. We do not offer elephant riding, and we never force our elephants to participate in activities. All interactions occur naturally and at the elephants’ pace, ensuring a respectful and enjoyable experience for both visitors and animals.
Feeding Experience Schedule
Daily feeding experiences are available at:
9:00 AM – Private-style encounter, no English-speaking guide available
10:00 AM – English-speaking guide available (shared experience with other guests)
3:00 PM – Private-style encounter, no English-speaking guide available
Each feeding experience lasts approximately one hour.
